Aadhaar card print on A4

Add photos or scans of the front and back of your Aadhaar card, and get one A4 page with both sides at real card size, ready to print, photocopy or attach to a form.

Choose 2 to 10 images, for example your photo and signature, or both sides of a card.

Have the e-Aadhaar PDF from UIDAI? Its password is the first four letters of your name in capitals followed by your year of birth. Open it with Unlock PDF, save the page as an image with PDF to JPG, and crop out each side with Crop image.

Both sides, one page, real size

True card size

Each side is placed 8.6 cm wide, the size of the card itself, one above the other on white A4, the way offices expect a photocopy.

Print or attach

Save a PDF that prints at 100% on any printer, or a JPG to upload with a form. Works for PAN, voter ID and driving licence too.

Your Aadhaar stays with you

Everything happens in your browser. Your Aadhaar photos are never uploaded, stored or shared.

How to print Aadhaar front and back on one page

  1. Add both sides

Choose the photo or scan of the front, then the back. Crop tight to the card edges first for the neatest result.

  2. Check the order

Front goes on top. Use the arrows to swap them if needed.

  3. Make the page

The Aadhaar A4 layout is already selected, so just press the button.

  4. Save and print

Download the PDF and print at ‘Actual size’ or 100%, not ‘Fit to page’.

Questions

How do I print both sides of my Aadhaar on one page?

Add a photo of the front and one of the back here. They’re placed one above the other on A4 at real card size. Download the PDF and print at 100% scale.

Why does my print come out smaller or bigger than the card?

The printer is scaling the page. In the print dialog choose ‘Actual size’ or 100% instead of ‘Fit to page’, and the card prints 8.6 cm wide.

Is a printout of Aadhaar valid?

UIDAI says a printout of e-Aadhaar is as valid as the original letter. For photocopies given as proof, it’s common to write the purpose and date across the copy and sign it.

Should I hide my Aadhaar number?

If the purpose doesn’t need the full number, use a masked Aadhaar (only the last four digits) from UIDAI, or cover the first eight digits with Blur or hide details before printing.

Can I use this for PAN card, voter ID or driving licence?

Yes. Any card the size of a bank card prints at real size with this layout, front above back.

Is my Aadhaar uploaded?

No. The page is put together in your browser, so your Aadhaar never leaves your phone or computer.
