Resize PDF pages

Put every page on A4, Letter or a size you choose. Phone scans, odd-sized certificates and mixed documents come out as one even set of pages. Everything happens on your device, so nothing is uploaded.

One page size, nothing lost

Fits without stretching

Each page is scaled to fit the new paper and centred, keeping its shape. Wide pages can go on wide paper automatically.

Text stays sharp

Pages aren’t turned into pictures. Text stays crisp and searchable, and links and form fields still work.

Private by design

Your browser does the work. ID proofs, marksheets and agreements never leave your phone or computer.

How to resize PDF pages

  1. Open your PDF

Drop it on the box above or choose it from your device.

  2. Pick the size

Choose A4, Letter, Legal, A3, A5, or enter your own width and height in millimetres.

  3. Check the preview

The preview shows each page on its new paper. Add a white border if the edges get trimmed when printed.

  4. Save

Press Resize and download the new PDF. Your original file is left as it was.

Questions

Is my PDF uploaded to resize it?

No. Resizing happens inside your web browser, so the file never leaves your device.

How do I make all pages of a PDF A4?

Open the PDF, keep A4 selected and press Resize. Pages that are already A4 are left untouched; the rest are scaled to fit A4 and centred.

Will my pages be stretched or cut off?

Not with “Fit to the page”: the page keeps its shape and any leftover space is white. “Keep actual size” doesn’t scale at all, so a page bigger than the new size loses its edges.

Does resizing reduce quality?

No. The page content is kept as it is and only scaled, so text stays sharp and selectable and the file size barely changes.

What about landscape pages?

With “Match each page”, wide pages go on landscape paper and upright ones on portrait paper. Choose Portrait or Landscape to put every page the same way.

Is this the same as making the file smaller?

No. This changes the paper size of the pages. To make the file smaller in KB or MB, use Compress PDF.
