How do I convert BMP to JPG?

Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes, in any browser. Safari opens HEIC itself; in Chrome, Edge and Firefox a decoder is downloaded the first time you add a HEIC photo, and the photo still never leaves your device.
Why did my file get bigger?
PNG, TIFF and BMP store every pixel exactly, so a photo saved in them is often several times larger than the JPG. Converting a heavily compressed JPG at high quality can also grow it. Choose JPG or WebP at Medium quality for a smaller file.
What happens to transparent backgrounds?
PNG, WebP, TIFF and ICO keep transparency. JPG and BMP can’t store it, so transparent areas become white, which is usually what forms expect for signatures.
How big is an SVG when converted?
SVGs are drawn at their own size, or two or four times larger if you choose. Because they’re drawn fresh rather than stretched, edges stay sharp at any size.
Can I convert animated GIFs or multi-page TIFFs?
Only the first frame of a GIF, or the first page of a TIFF, is converted, as a still image. To turn several images into one document, use JPG to PDF.
