  1. Add your details

    Name, phone, email and city; a LinkedIn or GitHub link if you have one. A photo is optional.

  2. Write a career objective

    Two lines on the role you want and what you bring. Start from one of the examples.

  3. Fill in education and projects

    Add each qualification with its score, then two or three projects with what you did.

  4. Check it fits one page

What should a fresher put on a resume?

A short career objective, education with year and percentage or CGPA (degree, Class XII, Class X), skills, two or three projects, any internships or training, certifications, achievements, and languages you know. Hobbies and personal details are optional.

How do I write a resume with no experience?

Lead with your education and projects. For each project, say what it does, what you built and the result, like ‘Built a canteen ordering app used by 1,200 students’. Internships, college fests, NSS or NCC, and online courses all count as experience.

Should a fresher resume be one page?

Yes. Recruiters spend under a minute on a fresher resume, and one page is expected. The preview shows the page count; if it goes over, hide hobbies or personal details, shorten points, or switch to the Compact template.

Do I need a declaration and personal details?

Many Indian employers, government jobs and campus drives still expect a declaration and details like date of birth. Private companies and multinationals usually don’t need them. Both sections can be turned on or off with one tap.

What is a good career objective for a fresher?

Two lines that name the role you want and what you bring, for example: ‘Final-year Computer Science student looking for a software developer role where I can use my skills in Java and SQL to build reliable products.’ Use the examples in the Summary box as a starting point.
